Emilio Martínez Poppe is an artist and educator based in New York. Recent exhibitions include the Queens Museum, CUE Art Foundation, and The Elizabeth Foundation for the Arts, New York; Tiger Strikes Asteroid, Philadelphia; and Vlaams Cultuurhuis de Brakke Grond, Amsterdam. Emilio earned an MFA and MCP from the University of Pennsylvania, a BFA from The Cooper Union School of Art, was a studio fellow in the Whitney Independent Study Program, and a member of BFAMFAPhD. Emilio is a member of Pinko and a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Graduate Communications Design department at Pratt Institute.
